Sundays

We meet every Sunday at 10:00 am. to learn from the Bible, praise God in song, pray and encourage one another. Whether you’re exploring faith or a long-time Christian, you’ll find a warm welcome.

What to expect

  • Outline of a Bible with a cross on its cover.

    Bible reading

We hear a section of the Bible read aloud, usually as part of an ongoing series working through books and letters in the Bible. This helps us hear God’s Word in context.

  • Outline icon of a desk lamp with a flexible neck.

    Sermon

The sermon is central to our service. Together we’ll unpack the week’s Bible Reading, to apply its truth to our daily life, and help us to know God more deeply.

  • Icon of two hands pressed together in prayer or gratitude.

    Prayer

Prayer is led from the front and includes thanksgiving, confession, and asking God to work for his glory in the world, the town and our church family.

  • Music note icon with a quaver and a beamed eighth note.

    Songs

We sing a mix of three to four modern songs and traditional hymns, to praise God, remember gospel truths, and encourage one another in everyday life. Lyrics provided.

  • Outline of a simple cross symbol in dark blue.

    Communion

About once a month, we share bread and wine as Jesus taught. It reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and points us to the hope we have in Him.

  • Icon of an open book with lines representing text.

    Creeds

Sometimes we say a creed together. A creed is a short statement of core Christian beliefs, shared with believers across the world and across generations.

Where we meet

We meet in the ECL building at 39 Audley Rd CB11 3HD. Car and pedestrian access from Audley Road.
